HDB issues a reply to our appeal and proposals. Though HDB’s letter still falls short and in most certainty, Alvin may still get Evicted (unless we do something to help), I think HDB has demonstrated that it has the capacity to be compassionate.

Alvin can repay another $320 towards lowering of the home loan Arrears each month (for the 1st 3 month – then from the 4th month onwards, he will increase his repayment of arrears to $1580 every month) – In other words, for every month of installment, he is able to reduce his arrears by 1 month.
